Why I have Chosen to Blog about Anime and Gaming

Image
The reason I have chosen to blog about Anime and Gaming is because I have a very close personal connection to both forms of entertainment. I have been playing games ever since I was 2 or 3 years old. I remember I used to play Spider Man 2000 and the first 2 Harry Potter games on my dad’s PC at those ages, he would show me how to play them. I still love those games and they are some of my favorite games of all time. My dad also owned a Playstation and he had all the Crash Bandicoot games, the Spyro games, and many other games. I would play these games everyday even though I was not that good at them. Then in Kindergarten I got a gamecube and my love for gaming grew even more with games like Metroid Prime, Super Smash Bros Melee, Sonic Adventure, the Hobbit, etc. I would also play the NES, SNES, and N64 at my cousins house in Mexico, and we would have a blast playing Mario and Goldeneye 007. I then got a Wii in 2nd grade and I have very fond memories of it also, I also got a ds lite in 3

Why the Call of Duty Franchise Will Die this Year

Image
Call of Duty is one of the biggest franchises in the history of gaming. And it also took over the youtube gaming scene in the earlier days of the franchise. The Call of Duty franchise changed the first person shooter genre with Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare. Each year the game would keep getting better like for example with Call of Duty World at War which introduced the very popular zombie horde mode. The game that started the Call of duty gaming revolution on youtube was Modern Warfare 2, all of these youtubers would post clips of awesome gameplays and Call of Duty became the most watched game on youtube.  With releases coming every year and millions of people buying copies of the new game for their console or PC every year, what could go wrong for gaming’s biggest franchise? A combination of greedy business practices by Activision and a lack of innovation have sprung the Call of Duty Franchise towards a downwards spiral. Even though there are 3 companies that develop the games (

How Luffy can defeat Charlotte Katakuri One Piece chapter 888 and beyond!

Image
The most current chapter of One Piece chapter 886 has shown us that Luffy is not ready to take down Charlotte Katakuri. Charlotte Katakuri is one of the four Sweet Commanders under the Emperor Big Mom. Katakuri is also the strongest of the sweet commanders which is even worse for Luffy. Luffy was able to beat Commander Cracker after a fight that lasted about 11 hours, however Luffy was only able to beat Cracker because he had the help of Nami, who has abilities that weaken Crackers armor.  Also Luffy showed us a new form in Gear 4th which was tank man ( defensive form), he also has bound man form. Cracker was defeated also because he has a huge weakness which is not being able to take hits, that is why he would use his biscuit biscuit fruit to make armor all around his body, but if he is hit once really hard without armor he is done for. Against Katakuri it’s a completely different story, Luffy could only keep up if he is in Gear 4th and that is bad because as we know, Luffy could onl

The Nazi and German symbolism in Tite Kubo’s BLEACH

Image
Now today I am going to talk about all of the Nazi symbolism in Tite Kubo’s BLEACH, now this type of symbolism is primarily present in the final arc of the series and to my knowledge it is not seen in any other arc prior to the final one. So we will only be talking about the final arc. Also another thing I should mention is that Kubo takes inspiration from many cultures around the world, and each arc is themed around a different culture. For example the Soul Society arc is based on feudal Japan, and that is obvious because of the way the soul society looks. Soul Reapers are based on the japanese and this is evident because of the way that they look, they have traditional japanese robes. The Hueco Mundo arc with the Hollows and the Arrancars is based on the spanish, all of the names are in spanish and the moves also. The arrancars represent the spanish conquistadors. The fullbring arc is based on the english, but it wasn't as fleshed out as the previous ones. And now the Quincies

The Symbolism in Tite Kubo’s BLEACH

Image
Bleach is an action/adventure shonen manga and anime written and drawn by Tite Kubo. It’s the story about a guy named Ichigo Kurosaki who has the ability to see and interact with ghosts, he later gets soul reaper powers and he battles supernatural threats. BLEACH may seem like a regular battle anime but it is full of christian  symbolism. There is a place where all souls go after they die, and that place is the Soul Society, the soul society symbolises heaven. The soul reapers in BLEACH are actually angels that guard the soul society and that guard humans just like guardian angels. In BLEACH the ruler of everything, the being that keeps everything together is called the Soul King and his name is Reio. The soul king symbolizes god. The equivalent of hell in the bible in BLEACH is Hueco Mundo, where are of the Hollows ( demons) reside. These symbolisms are the simple ones and they are ones that everybody can notice, however the ones im about to list are more in depth. The main
