Top 10 Villains in the Big 3 Animes One Piece, Naruto, and BLEACH
Top 10 Villains of the Big 3 Animes One Piece, Naruto, and Bleach
10. Marshall D. Teach aka BlackBeard ( One Piece)
Blackbeard is one of the most powerful characters currently in One Piece, and for fans its either you hate him or you love him. I personally hate BlackBeard but I have to acknowledge the stuff he has done in the series.
The first time we saw him was in Jaya, in the Skypiea arc, but he was not a villain yet, he actually gave Luffy some very inspiring words which were “ Men’s dreams never die!” BlackBeard used to be part of Whitebeard’s crew but left after he committed treason by killing Thatch and taking his dark dark fruit which is the most powerful logia fruit.
And BlackBeard’s goal is to be Pirate King also like Luffy. Blackbeard became one of the 7 Warlords of the sea after defeating Fire fist Ace and turning him into the world government. Then Blackbeard became one of the four Emperors after killing Whitebeard ( Whitebeard was an Emperor so he took his place) at the paramount war. He also took whitebeard tremor tremor fruit. Black Beard is also the only character in the series to be able to have more than one devil fruit, and theorists speculate he is going to have a third devil fruit, since he already has a paramecia and logia fruits he just needs a Zoan. And I think his Zoan fruit is going to allow him to turn into Cerberus, there’s a lot of symbolism with the number 3 with Blackbeard, and also his pirate flag has 3 heads just like Cerberus. Black Beard is most likely going to be the final villain of the series and I cannot wait to see more of him.
9. Rob Lucci ( One Piece)
Rob Lucci is the strongest member of the government spy agency CP9 ( Cipher Pol 9) and CP9 is the strongest known spy agency. Now the reason Lucci is on this list is because he gave fans one of the best fights of all time in any anime, the fight was really really good and I watch it at least once every two weeks. Also he has one of the best Zoan fruits , the cat cat fruit leopard model. This guy is the epitome of Dark justice and currently he’s with the secret spy agency nobody knows about which is CP0. Cannot wait to see more of him in the future.
8. Fleet Admiral Akainu Sakazuki ( One Piece)
Akainu is the current leader of the Marines/navy and he’s obviously the most powerful one. Oda the creator of One Piece said that Akainu is so powerful that if he was a pirate instead if a marine he would find the One Piece and become Pirate King in one year. Akainu also has a very powerful Logia devil fruit, the magma-magma fruit. And his haki is very powerful as well. The first time we saw him was in Nico Robin’s backstory when he destroyed the island of Ohara with his powers. And during the war he destroyed Whitebeard's ship the Moby Dick, and killed a bunch of pirates, he also made a huge hole in Whitebeard's chest and face. And he killed Fire fist Ace D. Portgas which was the saddest scene in the series. That's why Akainu is #8.
7. Grimmjow Jeagerjaques ( Bleach)
Grimmjow Jeagerjaques is Espada number 6, and he is one of my favorites. As soon as fans saw him we knew how awesome he was. The first time Ichigo encountered him, Grimmjow stabbed and made a whole in Rukia’s chest and then he beat the living crap out of Ichigo. And the best part was that Grimmjow did not even have to take out his sword. And then Grimmjow’s final fight against Ichigo was amazing, both of them went full out. Grimmjow Resurreccion Pantera had such a cool design also, and just seeing Ichigo struggle and finally beat Grimmjow was great. It was also nice to see him return in the thousand year blood war arc to help ally with the Soul Reapers to defeat the Quincies. That's why Espada 6 Grimmjow Jeagerjaques is number 6.
6. Sosuke Aizen ( Bleach)
Aizen is the main villain of Bleach, and he used to be one of the Soul Reaper captains in the Soul Society. But in the soul society arc he planned out a very elaborate betrayal, and then he made an army of hollows to take down the soul society. Aizen is one of the smartest and strongest characters in the series and his Zanpakuto Kyoka Suigetsu is one of the strongest sword in the series. Aizen can manipulate practically anyone, and the series was also hyping up his battle with Ichigo. I would have put Aizen higher since he did orchestrate almost every event in the series but he got rekt by Ichigo too easily when Ichigo went complete Bankai.
5. Espada 4 Ulquiorra Cifer ( Bleach)
Coming in at #5 is my favorite espada, Ulquiorra. The first time we saw Ulquiorra was when him and Yammy came to attack the world of the living, and Ulquiorra just seemed so mysterious. We knew he was the real deal when he blocked Kisuke Urahara’s Benihime attack with his bare hand very easily. And Ulquiorra is the only villain in Bleach to ever kill Ichigo, not once but twice. Ichigo even at full power was just too powerless against Ulquiorra. When Ichigo finally got strong enough to match Ulquiorra’s base form, Ulquiorra showed us his resurreccion. And with this he beat Ichigo with ease. And just to make Ichigo feel even more powerless, he showed him his second resurreccion. And then he killed Ichigo again. He was defeated because Ichigo's inner hollow went full Vasto Lorde, but anyway that's why Ulquiorra is on this list.
4. Madara Uchiha ( Naruto)
The name Madara is synonymous with the word overpowered in the minds of Naruto fans. When Madara was introduced in the 4th Great Ninja war arc we saw what this god could do. He took on a whole army by himself, including Naruto, Gaara, and Ohnoki, who are known to be hokage level ninjas. Not only that, Madara took on the 5 Kage by himself, who not only are the village leaders but are supposed to be the strongest ninjas of their nation. Madara just played with everyone he fought with. He only ever acknowledged two ninjas, and those were Hashirama Senju the first Hokage who Madara fought with a long time ago and was defeated by, and Might Guy, who is considered to be the most elite taijutsu ninja, however, he was only acknowledge when he used the 8th gate, the most powerful and lethal technique in the Naruto universe. Madara also became a god literally, he was already overpowered but the author made him a god. The author said in an interview that he wrote himself into a corner and he did not know how Madara could be defeated. This is why Madara Uchiha is number 4.
3. Donquixote Doflamingo ( One Piece)
Doflamingo is hands down my favorite villain of the One Piece series. His fight with Luffy was amazing and early on in the series Doflamingo was very mysterious. In the paramount war Doffy was just playing around killing people, and he cut off a giants leg just by moving his fingers. He has the string-string fruit. He can do whatever he wants with his strings. It took the effort of a whole city, and the plot to take down Doflamingo. Doflamingo also used to be a Celestial dragon, and one of the 7 warlords. He’s also one of the only people to have conqueror's Haki. He is also one of the smartest characters in the series and he can manipulate almost anyone, oh and his speeches are amazing. If you have seen One Piece you know Doflamingo’s backstory and how great it is, and also the Dressrosa arc is one of my personal favorite arcs in One Piece. This is why the Heavenly Demon Doflamingo is number 3.
2. Yhwach ( Juha-Bach from BLEACH)
Yhwach is my all time favorite BLEACH villain, he is the main antagonist of the final BLEACH arc, the thousand year blood war. I love all of the christian nazi symbolism that is present in the final arc and in Yhwach it is just so interesting. Yhwach is the true father of Ichigo and of every Quincy, he's basically the BLEACH version of Jesus. Yhwach is also the most overpowered villain I have ever since in any media ever. He has the ability to see the future and change it in any way he wants. He also has the powers of all the other sternritters and if you've read the manga you know how overpowered these 30 powers are. They are powers of that of a god. The only reason Yhwach was defeated was because the plot demanded it, and the magazine company Shonen jump rushed the creator Tite Kubo to rush his series and to finish it already. I hope one day the anime can come back with Kubo directing it so that we can see the version of BLEACH the author wanted to write. I just want to see Yhwach in action, he's so hype that is why he's number 2.
Pain ( Naruto)
Pain by far is my favorite villain of all time, he was very mysterious when he was introduced at the beginning of Naruto shippuden, and also his backstory and character are very tragic. Pain is a parallel to Naruto, he has a similar goal which is to achieve peace but Pain has a very different way to achieve it. Pain is the leader and most powerful member of the akatsuki, he has the Rinnegan which is an eye power that only gods have. Pain also has the power of the six paths, which allows him to control 6 bodies at the same time. Pain killed Jiraiya who was one of the Legendary Sannin with ease. Pain is a villain with motives and he is very relatable, though his means of achieving peace are violent they are realistic. And Pain has some of the best quotes in anime that i've ever seen. My favorite is “Sometimes you must hurt in order to know, fall in order to grow, lose in order to gain, because life’s greatest lessons are learned through pain.” Pain is one of my favorite characters in Naruto and he also teaches us some life lessons in his quotes. A lesson I learned is that if you don't share someone's pain you can never truly understand them. I could go on about Pain all day but I would encourage you to watch Naruto so you could experience this amazing series for yourself. Pain is number 1 because of all of these reasons.
10. Marshall D. Teach aka BlackBeard ( One Piece)
